Among the Imposters by Margret Peterson Haddix
pg.1-52
40min
My sister finished this book just a few minutes befor I started writing this. I told her not to tell me a single word about this book but Their her mouth starts flapping
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I yell at her for telling me all the important stuff. I was very very angry with her when she told me that Luke met more shadow people like him!! UGHHHHH little siblings....
well Luke is elated that there is an open door but why has it been locked? Why don't they want people out there? It must be very hard for Luke to fit in when he has never been around anyone except his family and since he has never gone to school before. He is like the new kid that is always picked on and he doesn't get to go home because it is a boarding school. I love this book because it always wants you to keep turning the pages to learn more.

The Never-ending Story
At first I thought this story would be about an immortal person's life because of the title. I love books that have parts of the story in a library because it makes me feel like the author loves to read and write. I like how he color coats the story so you can tell if its the story Bastian is reading or what it Happening to Bastian in his life. It is very interesting because it lured me with the fist page. I am a huge fan of books that take place in different worlds like Graceling. The author puts good details and description for me to picture the story in my head.

The Name of this Book is Secret
By: Pseudonymous Bosch
According to my sisters standards, having a Cute and hilarious book is very low. When she told me to read this book I just nodded my head not knowing that this book was called "the name of this book is secret". Really. that is the name !!! Even Heath (our LA class president) was confuddled when he grabbed the book of my desk in Texas history. HE even tried to decode all the x's in chapter 1.
here is part of it.
xxxx xxxx x xxxx, xxxxx xxx x xxx xxx x xxx xxx xxxxx xxx. xxxxxxx xxx xxx xxx xxxxxxxxx. xxxxxxxxx xxx
ans so on. Then I read him part of chapter 1.5 (yes. that's right Chapter One and a half!! (: ) " Sorry i couldn't let you read chapter1. That is where you would have learned the names of he characters." pg 5.
Heath said " I'm still confused". with a palm to my head and Meghan and Kayla laughing hysterically I knew that Pseudonymous Bosch had done an awesome yet confusing job with this book and soon to be series (yes there will be a series!!!)

This is one of my favorite Fantasy books where the is a whole new world!! I have read Graceling (Another Lone star book for this year) and now I am reading this one. They did pick good books for the lonestar books (Except for Donut days ). To Imagine a Unreal world this book has a map at the beginning to picture it.

The Almighty Essay

As I read this story I realize that the story id probably for an audience who has already experienced this. To me it was not very interesting since I haven't reached the age where I have to search for a college. Instead of banging my head on my desk while Ms.Green teaches us how to write Personal Narratives I will listen because thats what you have to turn in with your college application. Ms. Green instead of letting us read it let our parents read this article about the personal narratives.personal narratives can separate you from your competitors when you are applying for college.
